For twelve years, the Heart of the City Music Festival has enlivened Edmonton's core for one weekend in June by filling it with the work of the city's plethora of musicians and artists. The festival's continued mandate to foster local artistic talent by providing performers and artists at all levels with an opportunity to strut their stuff, and to strengthen inner-city community engagement at the same time, is as committed as ever. This year's board is thrilled to announce the lineup for this year's festival, which is being held on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 in Little Italy's Giovanni Caboto Park.

The Heart of the City Music Festival is FREE to attend for everyone, and runs from 11:00am to 9:00pm on Saturday, June 3, and from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday June 4. Giovanni Caboto Park is located in Little Italy between 108A and 109A Avenues and 94 and 95 streets. All ages are welcome, though city bylaws prohibit the attendance of dogs.
